Planning Office Management and Staff |
| The Five County Transportation
Planning Office (TPO) administers the activities of the Dixie
Metropolitan Planning Organization. The Five County Association
of Governments (FCAOG), is a multi-county planning district, which has
its main office located in St. George, Utah and a satellite office
located in Cedar City, Utah. Various community and economic
development, human, aging and other services are provided by the FCAOG
throughout the five southwestern Utah counties: Beaver, Garfield, Iron,
Kane and Washington. The TPO provides MPO management and staff to conduct the day to day operations of the MPO, including providing staff support to the DTEC and DTAC. The FCAOG itself executes, manages and administers all contracts and agreements between various agencies and consultant services needs for the MPO in the conduct of the urban transportation planning process for the urbanized area and planning boundary. The TPO is currently staffed by Curt Hutchings, Transportation Planning Manager and Lowell Elmer, Dixie Metropolitan Planning Organization Director. The TPO is located within the offices of the Five County Association of Governments which is at the Tonaquint Center High-Tech Business Park in St. George City. Transportation
