Mission of the Dixie Metropolitan Planning Organization


The mission of the Dixie Metropolitan Planning Organization is to administer, set transportation and related policy, and establish annual multi-modal transportation program of project priority for Utah's Dixie for the urbanized area planning boundary which currently includes the municipal boundaries of Ivins, St. George, Santa Clara and Washington cities.

Decisions will be based on the needs of the area in terms of regional significance, such as what is good for the region, not necessarily the highest priority for any one city.
