Diane LamoreauxThe Dixie Metropolitan Planning Organizations (DMPO) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a five-year plan of highway, and regionally significant arterial and major collector roadways and transit projects for the Metropolitan Planning Boundary in Washington County.  The Utah Department of Transportation's Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is also a five-year plan. It incorporates the projects from the DMPO TIP, and other MPO TIPs throughout the state, in addition to projects in rural areas outside the DMPO and other MPO boundaries.

Diane Lamoreaux, Community Development Specialist at the  Five County Association of Governments, supports the Dixie Metropolitan Planning Organization, serving as the TIP Coordinator. Please note that both the TIP and the Transit TIP are currently draft documents.  They are available both here online as well as at the Dixie MPO offices which are located at the Five County Association of Governments office building in St. George, Utah (1070 West 1600 South, Building B, Tonaquint High-Tech Business Park).  The TIP and Transit TIP will be available for review at the front reception area.

These drafts are available for public review and comment for 30 days beginning July 1, 2008 and ending July 31, 2008.  Please send any comments on the TIP or Transit TIP to Diane Lamoreaux at the e-mail shown above.
